Hindu Indian Wedding Photography

Hindu Indian weddings are simply AMAZING. The colors, the excitement in the air, the flowers, the scents that fill the air… it’s all just awesome. If you haven’t experienced one, you might want to make some friends now. We’ve been photographing Indian weddings for a couple years and they still amaze me. Maybe it’s because they are different from the usual American wedding….I don’t know, I just know that Indian people really know how to throw a party! Here are some pictures of a wedding we photographed this past fall.

Winter Wedding

I love Winter Weddings, they are so much fun. This wedding was in Ellicottville, NY, any avid skier in this area, knows that it’s gorgeous there. It’s the next best place to ski, besides the West Coast. We had such a great time with this couple. Be sure to check out her shoes!Check out those ShoesBride

Deane’s Birthday Party

Our daughter turned 1 a couple weeks ago.  I can’t believe that much time has passed, I feel like we just had her.  Many parents told us that it would go fast so we better enjoy it.  We would just knod our heads and say “yes, yes we know”, BUT it’s really true.  I’m so thankful of every picture, every little video clip, every memory I have of our little girl.  She is just a blessing to our lives and I don’t remember what it was like without her, it’s like that time never existed.  I guess it’s hard to explain until you have a child.  I’ll leave you with this, life is way to short to take anything for granted; hug, kiss, and laugh everyday with the people that are most important to you.

Independence School Prom

Prom season for us began with Independence High School. It was a great party! The Class of 2007 had a fabulous time at Windows on the River. This high school was recently on Fox News for using breathalizers to screen for under-age drinking. Most of the seniors were in favor of the screening, just a few opposed it. I think all schools should make this a standard practice. Not only will this rule give, normally responsible, kids a good excuse to use when confronted with pressure to drink by their friends, but the other kids will think twice before going to prom drunk.   Congratulations Class of 2007!

Wedding Season

Angela and I photographed a beautiful couple last weekend in Wickliffe, Ohio.  With all the snow we had the week prior, we were a little nervous about the weather.  It turned out to be the most beautiful day in April.  The formals were done at Squires Castle in Willouhby Hills, Ohio; what an amazing location!  The weathered stone work, the soft light gleaming through the trees and the architechure of the building were fantastic.
